Madison Veterinary Emergency can perform a variety of laboratory tests on-site, including blood work, urine analysis, cytology, and fecal analysis.
Digital radiology
Madison Veterinary Emergency provides advanced imaging equipment with our digital x-ray machines to help diagnose injuries and illnesses.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound technology can be used to visualize internal organs and structures and can help diagnose a wide range of conditions.
Emergency surgery
Emergency surgery may be necessary in cases of trauma, such as injuries sustained in car accidents or falls, or in cases of serious illness, such as organ failure or gastrointestinal obstruction.
Critical care and intensive support
Pets in critical condition may require intensive support to help them recover, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and monitoring of vital signs.
Pain management
Pets experiencing pain due to injury or illness may be given pain medications to help them feel more comfortable.
Blood and Plasma transfusions
Pets who have lost a significant amount of blood due to injury or illness may need a blood transfusion to restore their blood volume.
Cardiology services
Pets with heart conditions may require specialized care, including medications, diet recommendations, and monitoring of heart function.
Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen therapy is a medical treatment that helps improve oxygen levels in the tissues and organs of pets for respiratory distress or injury/illness-related oxygen deficiency. It can be given through a mask, nasal cannula, or oxygen enclosure/chamber and is carefully monitored for proper dosage.
